Dear Me New Hampshire Contest Rules
Write a letter to yourself with the reasons you want to quit tobacco and win a flip camera and a chance to be on TV!
To enter the contest you must use tobacco and live in NH. Please be honest in your letter. Six people who write compelling letters will be chosen to receive a flip camera. Those winners will be responsible for shooting video of themselves in the style of the Dear Me commercials. (These existing videos can be viewed on our website here and You Tube channel here.)
From the videos submitted, two to four people will be chosen to have their letters about quitting be professionally produced and will air on local NH TV, radio, web and print media and will inspire other people to write Dear Me letters too. Contest ends 9/2/2011. All letters and video content submitted become the property of the NH Tobacco Helpline. You must be 18 to enter your letter in the contest. Winners will be notified two weeks after contest closing date and will be treated with the utmost respect. To submit your letter via snail mail: NH TPCP/DPHS, 29 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH, 03301. Anyone can contact the NH Tobacco Helpline at anytime for free help quitting tobacco and may qualify for free nicotine replacement therapy patches.
